Finn Lachlan Treacy (born October 2008) is an Australian actor, known for his roles as Peter Roberts[1][2] in the joint BBC One and Stan production, Ten Pound Poms, and as Gordon Armstrong[3] in the SBS and NITV children's series, Barrumbi Kids.
Early Life[edit]
Treacy was born on the Sunshine Coast of Australia to Philip and Mynda Treacy. His father is Irish, and mother is of English and Australian decent. His grandfather was a Ten Pound Pom.
Career[edit]
In 2020 Finn voiced the character Chubbles[4] in an American accent in the Movies episode of Bluey season 2. Later that year he played Young Christian in a short film, Christian in the Closet.
In 2021 he played a freshman in NBC's Young Rock[5]. Later that year he spent 3 months in the Northern Territory filming the award winning[6] 10-part TV series, Barrumbi Kids which aired on SBS/NITV in 2022. In it he played the new kid in town, Gordon Armstrong opposite Justine Clarke and Christopher Sommers.
In 2022 Finn voiced two characters, Tim and Larry[7] in ABC's animation, The Strange Chores. Later in 2022 he played a character in an upcoming Disney+ TV series yet to be announced and played Young Dodger[8][9][10][11] in another Disney TV series, The Artful Dodger[12] opposite David Thewlis.
In 2023 Finn made his film debut in Jim Henson & Co's, The Portable Door where he played the young version of Christoph Waltz's character, Humprey Wells. In May 2023 Finn starred in the award winning[13] joint BBC/Stan 6-part TV series Ten Pound Poms where he played Peter Roberts opposite Faye Marsay and Warren Brown.
