Frederick (Fritz) Williams, Jr. (August 23, 1865 - April 1, 1930) was an American actor and Shepherd (president) of The Lambs from 1928 to 1930.[1]
He made his stage debut when he was six months old. William Warren carried him onstage at the Boston Museum in Seeing Warren. Williams made his professional debut in 1879 in Gilbert and Sullivan's musical H.M.S. Pinafore. His New York debut was at Wallack's Theatre in in 1884 in A Scrap of Paper.[2]
Williams worked steadily in New York playhouses from 1884 to 1930.
Williams died on April 1, 1930, in The Lambs clubhouse in Manhattan, New York.[2] He and his wife, Katherine Florence, are interred in the Lakeside Section of Woodlawn Cemetery, The Bronx [3]
