The Fundamental Rules and Benefits is a book on the principles of jurisprudence, written by Al-Hafiz Ibn al-Laham (754-803). In his book, the author searches for the principles of jurisprudence, and mentions its rules and the fundamental benefits on... Every rule, with mention of the issues contained therein that are important for explanation and interpretation. This book has enriched the library of principles and is an important book for the researcher in the principles of jurisprudence and its rules.[1] Al-Hafiz Ibn Al-Lahham spoke in the introduction to his book about his authorship of this travel.:[2]
A special quote: "As for what follows, the science of the foundations of jurisprudence, since it was in the science of Sharia law as an intermediate system between the two ranks of the branches and the science of theology, is a science of great importance, value, and exaltation in the world, its honor and its knowledge, since its fruit is the rulings contained in the purified Sharia law, and through it the virtuous imams govern their discussions with the utmost precision. I seek God’s help in Writing a book in which I mention fundamental rules and benefits and supplement each rule with issues related to it from the subsidiary rulings. By God, I ask for the benefit that is transcended and necessary, and that He make it pure for His honorable and eternal face, for He answers the prayers of those in need, and He is the best conciliator and helper."
