History[edit]

Fungrow was founded in 2015 by Dr. Emily Greene, a mycologist with a vision to transform agriculture through the use of fungi. The company started as a small research initiative at Greenfield University, where Dr. Greene and her team explored the potential of mycelium in soil regeneration and crop enhancement.

In 2017, Fungrow received its first major investment, allowing the company to expand its research and development capabilities. By 2019, Fungrow had launched its first commercial product, MycoBoost, a mycelium-based soil additive designed to improve nutrient uptake in plants
