"GO AGAIN" is a song by American record producer and songwriter Bnyx and extensive collaborator Yeat, featuring the band Superheaven. It was released through Lyfestyle Corporation, Field Trip Recordings & Capitol Records, and serves as BNYX's debut single and also lead single off of his upcoming debut studio album.

Background

[edit]

Yeat and BNYX have extensively worked together on multiple of Yeat's projects. Sometime in 2023, BNYX® first previewed a snippet of the instrumental to this song on his TikTok page. Around sometime in November 2023, Yeat recorded on the song.[1] During a Yeat concert at Brooklyn Mirage, New York on June 24, 2024, BNYX played a snippet of this song on his opening set. The song was continued to be previewed as snippets at multiple other concerts.

Composition

[edit]

The song interpolates Superheaven's song "Youngest Daughter." Although, the interpolation was originally meant to be a sample, BNYX confirmed that he had to match the guitar tone and the band had to re-record their vocals as the sample wasn't allowed to be used anymore.[2]

And called the band to re-record the vocals as close I possible. I really fought for it
