Golden Man Auto Parts, LLC., often shortened to Golden Man or GM Auto, is a UAE-based auto spare parts distributor founded in 2001, operating in the GCC countries, South Asian countries, and the African continent.[1]

Javed Iqbal, the founder of Golden Man Auto Parts, LLC., set foot into the auto spare parts market in Pakistan in 1978 with the brand name Shockhouse in Badami Bagh, Lahore. However, due to frequent changes in economic policy and crises arising from the illegal trade from Afghanistan [6, 7][2], he sought to step into the international market in hopes of expanding and establishing consistency. Due to previously using the UAE for warehousing Shockhouse products, he had an insight into the potential of its export market [8, 9][3], and thus, as an experiment, he decided to sell the same automotive products in Dubai. After receiving a satisfactory response, Javed Iqbal made the decision to set up a distribution network as Golden Man Auto Parts, LLC., in the city. [4] [5] [6]
