Gulmaki Habib(born 5 June 1989) is an Indian politician who belongs to Odisha. she was elected Bhadrak Municipality in the 2022 Bhadrak, Odisha, Throughout the history of Odisha, no Muslim woman had ever held the highest position in any municipality. In 2022, she created winning in the election for the chairperson position of Bhadrak town. In a stunning victory, Gulmaki emerged as the clear winner of the election, leaving her closest competitor, Samita Mishra of Biju Janata Dal, trailing behind by a significant margin of 3,256 votes. With 28,115 votes, she emerged as the winner, while Samita received 24,859 votes. The Bharatiya Janata Party candidate lagged far behind with 6,787 votes, while the Congress nominee managed to secure only 1,977 votes.
