Gyula Bill Deák, born in Budapest, Hungary, on November 8, in 1948, is a Hungarian blues singer. He is considered a King of the Blues in Hungary.

He is also an actor, and a songs author: a composer and a lyricist.

Some simply call him "Bill". Others "Bill Papa". Some 'Captain Bill'.

In 1984—in The Budapest Sports Hall (i.e. "Budapest Sportcsarnok" in Hungarian, a vast indoors sports arena) -- he had performed together with Chuck Berry, who pondered about him (in 1986):

"He has the blackest voice from white singers, I ever heard."
