- Comment: A student society, especially a brand new one, should be merged rather than an independent page. Star Mississippi 23:20, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
The Harvard Extension School Veteran Student Society (HESVSS) is an official student Society of Harvard Extension School, one of the 15 schools at Harvard University. Under the governance of the Harvard Extension Student Association (HESA) and founded on Veterans Day 2023, the purpose of the Society is to act as a beacon and “go-to” resource for the HES Veteran community.

Logo Description[edit]
While the design of the shield is generally self-explanatory, the stand out feature is the crimson stripe residing under the "V." The "V" stands for Veteran and the stripe represents The Long Crimson Line. "For almost 250 years, the U.S. military and Harvard University have shared a deeply interwoven history. From the thousands of students, faculty, staff, and alumni who have served in uniform to others who have shaped American diplomacy or scientific research, members of the Harvard community have long dedicated themselves in service to the nation’s military."[1]
