Heartbreak Records is a youth-run Hip Hop label from Boston MA. It was founded in 2019 by local artists FIZ and Mocha. The label's mission is to "elevate the Boston hip-hop scene to an international scale, from the group up."[1] As a label they manage, distribute, and produce the music of local Boston hip-hop artists.

Heartbreak Records currently has 3 artists signed [1]. Will Abad - a rapper and producer from New York, who raps with a focus on social justice issues around Boston. FIZ - a co-founder of the label from Brookline MA, who makes lyrical, low-key hip-hop tracks. Rhythm - A producer from Quincy MA who produces everything from Boom-bap to R&B beats.
Founding[edit]
Heartbreak Records was formed in 2019 by local artists FIZ and Mocha. They founded the label because "there's nobody really from Boston that Boston artists can look up to who has really... gotten super big and then continued to rep Boston. So if we're gonna elevate ourselves and elevate people like us, we have to elevate the entire scene. We formed Heartbreak Records to bring Boston up as a community." [2]
