History

[edit]

After the purchase of the house of the great poet Hemin by the municipality of Mahabad, it was decided to turn it into a place dedicated to cultural and artistic affairs.

There are many intellectuals in Mahabad who have become a bright lamp in various fields of science, culture and art and have illuminated the path of service to the people. It was appropriate to collect the remains of these great men in a special and appropriate place so that their lovers could see them and be comforted and the future generation could know them, appreciate them, learn from them and not blind them. What place is more sacred and precious than Mam Hemin's house for this purpose?

Therefore, the municipality of Mahabad began to prepare and repair Hemin's house in the early days of spring 2013; It can be used as a museum for collecting relics, books, manuscripts, personal belongings and goods, as well as a place for cultural activities.
