Hexaprotodon sivalensis is an extinct species of hippopotamus belonging to the genus Hexaprotodon which may include today's pygmy hippopotamuses. It lived in much of India starting Pliocene, died out at Pleistocene. [It was one of the few Asian hippopotamuses.
