Hossein Rezaeenia (Persian: حسین رضائی نیا, born May 29, 1975 in Tehran) is one of the best players, instrumentalists, and musicians of Iran, who can be mentioned as one of the main pillars of Iranian classical music [1], and he is also player of tambourine and percussion instruments.

Hossein Rezaeenia was born in Tehran. He as one of the top musicians of the country, has made a great impact on Iranian music. He has collaborated in many different fields of music, from cinema and television to collaboration with many famous artists and singers of traditional Iranian music. He is a Daf musician and teacher, collaborating and performing concerts with various groups and participating in Tehran Symphony Orchestra, concerts and music festivals around the world with famous singers such as Master Mohammad-Reza Shajarian, Shahram Nazeri, Homayoun Shajarian, Alireza Ghorbani, Bijan Kamkar, Salar Aghili, Mohammad Motamedi, Sahar Mohammadi, Hesameddin Seraj, Vahid Taj, and he has played in more than 80 music albums. He has also performed with Sami Yusuf outside of Iran.[2] He has played "DAF" and other percussion instruments in different music albums. He is one of the founders of the most professional and skilled music groups in the country, Tehran Percussion Group.[3] He has also collaborated in more than 150 musical works including albums, films, and serial musics, holding many Daf workshops in different parts of Iran. He was also a Referee at percussion festivals in different cities of Iran. He is the Producer and manufacturer of "Rezaeenia Daf" brand.

Among Hossein Rezaeenia's artistic activities, the following can be mentioned: Teaching Daf in The "House of Tanbour Shams"[4] Inventor of "Rezaeenia Daf" brand,[5] founder and supervisor of "Koobeyi Tehran" music group, [6] teacher of the daf, [7] member of the jury of the Barbad Award of Fajr Music Festival, [8] member of the jury of the international festival of Moloudi Khani "Hatav" [9]. He worked as a title singer in the movie "Rag Khab" alongside Homayun Shajarian, and in this way, he started working in the country's cinema and television. Among Hossein Rezaeenia's other activities in cinema, it should be noted that he played and composed music for the "Jalaleddin" series. His style, especially in playing, his special technique, and his skill in creating pleasant rhythms with percussion instruments made him one of the best musicians in the eyes of the public.
