Houston Comedy Film Festival, founded in 2008.[1] by Mikel Fair, is an organization in Houston, Texas, that focuses on comedic contributions to filmmaking and scriptwriting.[2] The festival functions to advance the careers of aspiring comedic filmmakers. The festival is just one of thirteen film festivals within Mikel Fair's Film Festival Circuit LLC[3], which hosts film festivals with different themes in the states of Georgia, Texas, and Oregon. In 2024, the Houston Comedy Film Festival found new management under Roselyn Omaka[4]
