U2 frontman Bono stated one time he threw a carving knife at his brother Norman Hewson.[2] But he missed, which gave him the idea to write the song off the incident.[3]

Lyrics

The song's lyrics talk about not liking yourself, as you’re seeing yourself in a reflection while you want to break the reflection.[4]
