Comment: Wikipedia seeks to have articles only on notable subjects which have received substantial coverage in reliable published sources. A promising young performer who may or may not go on gain such coverage in the future does not satisfy Wikipedia's notability requirements. JBW (talk) 20:48, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
Illinois State Swimmers:
Many consider swimming not a very important sport, but in reality it is actually very well respected. It is actually a sport that is participated in, in the Olympics, and in the state of Illinois it is also very competitive. Among the list of notable Illinois State Swimmers, one has come into considerable mention for his potential to become an Olympic Champion some day. Colton Cecil Age 16 of Tremont, Illinois is a very determined individual, and with all of the hard work he has put forth it is no doubt that he is already getting scouts coming to talk to him. Whether it be ISU, SIU, or some college/university out of state, Colton Cecil will achieve great things!
