The Indic Researchers Forum,[1] an independent think tank founded on August 14, 2021, focuses on advancing research in geopolitics and security studies from a civilizational viewpoint. Its mission is to unite Scholars, Experts, Diplomats, Security Professionals and Intelligence Community to discuss and develop to advance the strategies for India’s geopolitical and security priorities.

The late General Bipin Rawat's concept of a "Two-and-a-Half Front War" effectively captures the complexities of India's security landscape, addressing both external and internal challenges. This framework highlights the multi-faceted and coordinated internal security issues India faces. In light of the evolving global order, we are experiencing increased conflicts, economic challenges, non-state violence, rapid technological changes, and socio-cultural tensions. These transnational security issues are reshaping geopolitical dynamics. Consequently, the Indic Researchers Forum (IRF) aims to foster partnerships and collaboration with like-minded nations to safeguard India's strategic interests through a pragmatic lens.[2]

The Indic Researchers Forum[3] pursues three main objectives: Civilization, Security, and Statesmanship. Through thorough research and discussions, the organization aims to preserve the cultural identity of Indian civilization, develop strategies to address National Security threats, enhance civilizational security, and adopt a statesmanlike approach to nation-building.[4]
