Invincible Fight Girl is an upcoming American animated action-comedy television series created by DC Super Hero Girls' Juston Gordon-Montgomery.[1] The series will premiere sometime in 2024 in the United States on both Cartoon Network and Max.
Plot
[edit]A young girl named Andy, living in Wrestling World, endeavors to become the best pro-wrestler ever, and takes on the alias of "Fight Girl" to make herself known.[1][2][3]

[edit]- Andy - a young girl dedicated to becoming the best pro-wrestler in the world.
- Aunt P (voiced by Rolonda Watts[citation needed]) - a retired, and cynical, champion
- Mikey - an innocent, yet great, analyst of wrestling
- Craig - a person trying to profit off wrestling
Production
[edit]In May 2022, the series was announced to be a new original animated series on HBO Max (later Max)[1] and Cartoon Network.[2][4][5]
In June 2023, an animatic for the series premiered at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.[6] At San Diego Comic Con TVfest on February 7, 2024, the first episode of the series premiered.[1] At the AfroAnimation Summit, held from April 10 to 12, 2024 in Burbank, California, Gordon-Montgomery had a panel entitled "How I Got My Show Made: The Underdog Story of Invincible Fight Girl."[7]
An early series preview was released on July 25, 2024.[8][9] The event, hosted at Savannah College of Art and Design, also included a talk with Juston Gordon-Montgomery, the show's art director (David Depasquale), and supervising producer (Bryan Newton).[10][11]
The series will have half-hour animated episodes which will premiere on Adult Swim, then uploaded to Max the next day.[1]
