Jason Edward Lewis theorizes about and makes art with digital media.[1][2]

Of Samoan and Hawaiian descent, Lewis focuses on how creative computation applications can sustain Indigenous Cultures.[3][4][5] Lewis is Professor of Computation Arts at Concordia University, where he is founder of Obx Laboratory for Experimental Media and founder and co-director of the Indigenous Futures Research Centre[6] Lewis is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada as well as a former fellow with the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation, the Carnegie Foundation, and the Open Documentary Lab at MIT.
