  • Comment: Your references are plentiful, but are nit about Doorga, certainly in the main. I have checked 50% of them and suggest you do the same, removing those where they are interviews with him, and are lacking significant coverage. If necessary you will need to remove the facts you are using them to verify.
That great swathe of publications does not help acceptance. Choose the most important, please. A few are fine. A great list is not. There are external catalogues that do Thant 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 11:34, 25 September 2023 (UTC)

Dr Jay Doorga (born 24th April 1993) is a Mauritian GIS expert and author, in the field of Renewable Energy, Climate Change, Environmental Management, Geospatial Modelling.[1] He was a finalist for the Commonwealth Youth Awards 2023.[2] and is a well established climate change expert in Mauritius

In 2019, he led his team to the construction of a wave energy prototype[3] which is patented under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and he advocated to invest strategically in wind and solar farms in Africa,[4][5] worked to identify flood risk areas in Mauritius due to climate change,[6] and researched on geospatial optimization of energy infrastructure in Africa[7]

In 2022, he also co-authored a book called Geospatial Optimization of Solar Energy :Cases from Around the World[8] which explains the challenges by policymakers regarding the planning and exploitation of solar energy, and how to optimize solar energy using GIS. [9]

Education

[edit]

Dr Doorga attended College du St-Esprit, where he was proclaimed Laureate and won the prestigious State Scholarship, which awards top students in Mauritius[10]

He then went on to complete his further studies at the University of Oxford
