The Jazz Centre UK is located in the Beecroft Art Gallery, Southend-on-Sea, Essex. It is a cultural centre that promotes jazz music's heritage and performance.[1] It is an independent charity and opened in 2016.[2] It houses an exhibition area, archive and performance space. [3] It engages with music education and hosts community-based events.[4]

Its heritage acquisitions include Louis Armstrong's Special Trumpet, Sir John Dankworth's Piano and the complete archives of Humphrey Lyttelton.
