Draft:Jeff DuJardin (Actor/Entrepreneur)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jeff DuJardin is an American actor and entrepreneur.

He portrays the Marquis de Morès, the main villain of the television series Elkhorn.[1][2][3] According to Medium, DuJardin's character is a French financier who "uses his wealth, charm, and military mindset to rule the frontier."[1] In the series, Morès is the antagonist of Teddy Roosevelt in the Badlands of North Dakota.[4] Cowboys and Indians Magazine writes: "Speaking of battles: It doesn’t take long for TR to ruffle the feathers of Marquis de Morès (Jeff DuJardin), a powerful French-born landowner who views the new guy in town as [his] possible rival."[5]

Jeff DuJardin received international attention and headlines from Russian news sources, such as TASS and Kultura for his willingness to use art to bridge gaps between countries and that art should be able to exist outside of politics. At a press conference broadcast nationally in Russia for his film Silent Life, DuJardin said: "I hope that this will be a film that will help bridge the differences between countries. You know, at the end of the day, we create art."[6][7][8]

DuJardin plays a leading character (Paul) in Silent Life: The Story of the Lady in Black, alongside Oscar-nominated actress Terry Moore[9][6]. Broadway World describes this character as the "ambitious young reporter (Jeff DuJardin) [who] approaches [the Lady in Black] for a scoop on her true identity...and at the reporter's persistent beckoning, the Lady relents and the story of her fabulous relationship unfolds."[10]

DuJardin is the co-founder of multiple businesses. Along with Scott Geer, he founded Smart Songs, which several news outlets, such as ABC News Los Angeles, have described as the hip hop equivalent of SchoolHouse Rock[11][12]. According to the Huffington Post, DuJardin has performed for Smart Songs under the alias "Shoeless Jeff."[13] On September 27, 2023, Emily Hampshire of Schitt's Creek sang DuJardin's lyrics (to Smart Songs' Presidents Rap) live on Celebrity Jeopardy.[14] [15][16]

DuJardin was also the founder of Elite Calibration, which was sold to Transcat in February 2023 for approximately one million dollars.[17][18]
