Jenna Baronette is a Canadian emergency nurse trained to work with sexual assault and domestic violence victims. Through her work she has become a significant activist for sex trafficking, using her voice to bring awareness to the issue. Due to all of her efforts, she was awarded the Outstanding Service in Women's Wellness Award in 2015.[1] Baronette uses her expansive knowledge outside of the emergency room to educate the public, hosting webinars throughout Canada to educate on how to effectively identify and provide aftercare of trafficked persons to health care providers. [2]
