Jidosodanjo is Child Consultation Center in Japan. Founded on the basis of the Child Welfare Law in Japan, Jidosodanjo hild guidance office accepts any type of consultation and report relevant to a child aged under 18, from anyone including the child, family, school teachers and local residents, and they can be an option to accommodate and take care of the child. 212 centers exist all over Japan. Jidosodanjo is a specialized counseling institution designed to search for solutions and solve problems with the hope of supporting children's sound growth.

They offer counseling on all matters related to the growth of children under 18 years old, including Questions concerning child raising, Dealing with stress which may cause parents to child abuse, Inability to care for the children due to illness or other situations, Concern about the development, tendency to stay out all night or to resort to domestic violence, child's isolation and/or absence of school.

Staff members Specialized staff members such as a child welfare officer, child psychotherapist and medical doctor are in charge of counseling and other services.
