Jim Simon is the author of fiction/nonfiction books and other media. As the son of Joe Simon, he grew up amid comic book writers, artists, novelists, and publishers. Influenced by the creative and business world of working in his father's studios, Jim has gone on to write novels, comics, children books, nonfiction books on comic book history, and more. Jim has been published by Marvel Entertainment, DC Entertainment, Titan Publishing, Abrams ComicArts, Heritage Magazine for the Intelligent Collector, Alter Ego, and elsewhere. He was involved in a segment of the Discovery Channel's Marvel Super-Heroes' Guide to NYC. Jim has been interviewed in newspapers, on radio, and was involved in the television movie/documentary, Marvel's Captain America: 75 Heroic Years. He has been a guest at the New York and San Diego Comic Cons. He has also been involved in licensing and independent publishing for which he created ShieldMaster, among other heroes and titles. His work has been translated and published by French and Japanese publishers.
