The Jinnah Municipal Stadium Sukkur,[1] also known as Sukkur Stadium, is a cricket ground currently in the final stages of construction in Sukkur, Sindh, Pakistan. The stadium is poised to become a new venue for cricket enthusiasts in the region.[2][3][4]
Current status[edit]
As of April 30, 2024, the stadium is nearing completion, likely in the final stages of construction.[5][6]
Future plans[edit]
Upon completion, the Jinnah Municipal Stadium is expected to host first-class cricket matches, potentially becoming the home ground for the Sindh Premier League (SPL)[7][8]. There are also aspirations for the stadium to eventually host Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches or even international cricket matches, signifying it will be built to meet international standards.[9][10][11]
