Jordan center for disease control (JCDC) is Jordanian center aimed to promote public health policies and to lead the efforts toward the preparedness and response to public health emergencies including bioterrorism. The center is financially and administratively independent.[1][2] the center works in cooperation with national and international organizations such as International Organization for Migration and US CDC.[3][4][5][6][7] Jordan CDC conducts activities about the hot topics on the national and international levels like Antimicrobial resistance.[8][9]

JCDC Board[edit]

  • Board chairperson: Dr Bisher Al-Khasawneh: the prime Minister of Jordan.
  • Vice-chair: Minister of health.
  • Members: Minister of agriculture, minister of water and irrigation, minister of environment, Director General of royal medical services, JCDC president Dr Adel Belbaisi, and other 4 members nominated by the JCDC president.[10]
