Personal Life[edit]

Juliette Godot was born in 1962 near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. She was raised on her family’s 100-year farm and had a Catholic school education. Juliette received her bachelor’s degree from Geneva College, a private Christian liberal arts college, in Beaver Falls, PA. She worked as a software engineer at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.

From childhood, Juliette wondered about her unusual name and began a lifelong genealogical quest to find her roots. Though she never found any royal blood, she has found many noteworthy characters. Her education including differing perspectives on the same historical texts added significant insights when researching the Renaissance.

Juliette has been married since 1985, has two children, and four grandchildren (so far). She enjoys painting and tending to her garden.
