Kagisho Mamabolo is the CEO and is also the Secretary to the Board of PSHA. Kagisho was a Corporate Services Executive and Spokesperson at the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS), where he participated in strategic planning that reflected his dedication to social responsibility, leadership, and positive social change for 9 years. He took over as CEO in April 2024 because of his expertise and insight into the higher education sector, and the difficulties that the private student housing developer deal with. He knows the public sector and has the right experience, knowledge, and passion for higher education. From 2018 to 2022 in Tanzania, he served as a General Council member of the Association of African Higher Education Financing Agencies (AAHEFA) representing South Africa, an organization that focuses on best practices on shared issues and to expand students' opportunities for higher education within and beyond Africa. Mr. Mamabolo advised the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training and also worked as the Chief of Staff in 2012. He led the Information and Content Development Unit at the Parliament of the Republic of RSA from 2008 to 2012, and then he became part of NSFAS management in 2014. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies in 2005 and an Honours in Media Studies in 2006 at the University of Limpopo. He is also doing an Executive MBA at the University of Cape Town.
