Beijing Kaiyun Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Beijing Kaiyun Automobile Co., Ltd.)is a national-level high-tech enterprise. Kaiyun established in 2014 and located in Beijing, is primarily engaged in the automotive manufacturing industry. The registered capital of the company is 77.487028 million RMB, with paid-up capital of 18.358903 million RMB.[1] In 2021, the company successfully completed a strategic financing round with a transaction amount of 50 million USD.The company is driven by intellectual property, invested by the core founding team of Xiaomi and operated by the backbone team of Huawei.[1]

A successful serial entrepreneur，with over 20 years of motor design experience, have designed the BJ40 and the Mobike. He founded Kaiyun Motor in 2014.[2]

Formerly served as Corporate Vice President of Huawei, Sales President of Greater China, Vice President of Nokia China, and Vice President of Samsung China.[3]
David Tang, CVO[edit]
Founder of Apple's China subsidiary, served as the Corporate Vice President of Nokia. Later served as Corporate Senior VP of AMD & President of Greater China, core executives of 3COM, DEC, AST, independent director and chairman of ESG Committee of Kingsoft, independent directors of Standard Chartered Bank and YY Inc., and as a member of its ESG Committee now.[4]
Yi Liu, CCO[edit]
Formerly served as Xiaomi's Vice President of International Department, Vice President of China, , won the "Outstanding Contribution Award" for Xiaomi Group's 10th anniversary (only 10 people). [5]

Business scope includes licensed projects: power generation, power transmission, power supply (distribution) operations; road motor vehicle production.
