For reader engagement, Kate McCulley, publisher of Adventurous Kate, is now sharing amusing travel stories or writing about relevant topics such as working from home. “If your income is based on people researching and booking travel, like hotel affiliates, you will not be recouping those losses until the pandemic ends,” McCulley explained. “I recommend focusing on content that entertains your readers, like funny travel stories. You can make money off display ads, no matter what you write about.”[8]
