Kiki Rockwell is an independent singer, songwriter and producer based in New Zealand. Born in San Francisco, she grew up in Bonn and Auckland.[1][2] She is a former member of the New Zealand band The Leers.[1] She made her solo debut in 2021 with the single "Left for Dead"[3]

Rockwell's musical style draws from a wide range of musical genres. The lyrics and music videos to her songs have been influenced by medieval folklore, fairytales, mythology, and the female point of view in history.[4]

The music videos to her singles "Same Old Energy" (2021) and "Cup Runneth Over" (2022) were directed by the New Zealand filmmaker Oshara Ardelean.[2][5][6]

Rockwell has been featured in numerous publications,[1][4][7] such as The New Zealand Herald[8] and the online music magazine NZ Musician.[2] As of October 2024, she has over 400,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.[9]

Rockwell uses the pronouns she/they and identifies as a pagan/witch.[10]
