Kim Garam was revealed as the second member of Le Sserafim on April 5, 2022.[1] She debuted alongside the other members with the release of FEARLESS on May 2, 2022.[2]

On May 20, source music disclosed that Garam will be taking a hiatus from group activities because of the bullying accusations and that Le Sserafim will be promoting as a 5-member group until further notice.[5]
