Kim In-seong (Korean: 김인성; born July 12, 1993), also known by his stage name Inseong, is a South Korean singer, dancer & actor known for his unique and distinct vocal. He is the main vocalist of the kpop boy group SF9 under FNC Entertainment.
Biography
[edit]Inseong was born on 12 July, 1993 in Seoul, South Korea. He is an only child. He studied in Seoul Hwarang Elementary School, Hagye Middle School, Gyeonggi High School. He received his Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communication from Kyung Hee University in February 2018. He is currently attending in Kyung Hee Cyber University Graduate School of Hotel Tourism.[1] His childhood dream was to be a comic book writer. He lived in London, England for a year when he was in elementary school[2]. He is the official English speaker of SF9. His English name is Terry Kim[3].
Career

Inseong didn’t plan on becoming a kpop idol, but after having the chance to perform on stage at a festival, he realized how fun it was and changed his mind. Inseong was trained to be a kpop idol under the talent company FNC Entertainment's rookie training program Neoz School. In 2016, he and his group mates competed on the Mnet survival reality show named d.o.b.: Dance or Band, for a chance to debut as FNC's first boy dance group. Later they won the competition, and debuted as a nine member boy dance group with the name SF9, releasing their first single album "Feeling Sensation" with lead single "Fanfare".[4] He is a former SM Entertainment trainee.[5]
2016-Present (SF9):
Kim debuted as the main vocalist of SF9 in 2016. The group debuted with the first single album "Feeling Sensation" with lead single "Fanfare". On June 7, 2017, SF9 officially debuted in Japan with Japanese version of "Fanfare", "K.O" , "Roar" and the instrumental version of "Fanfare"[6].

Alongside his active singing and performance career with SF9, he has worked to develop his performance skills as an individual, pursuing many acting, modelling, and independent music projects. His voice has been featured on original soundtracks of several South Korea web and television dramas.
