Kit Butler (born April 12, 1998)[1] [2] is British fashion model. He began his modeling career when he was 16 when he was selected to open Stuart Vevers ' first menswear show for Coach in the Autumn/Winter 2015 show. He did many campaigns for the world's largest luxury brands like Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani , Calvin Klein , Ralph Lauren , Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Loewe, Versace and LaQuan Smith. After one year he debuted modeling he was nominated by Models.com[3] for men's brekout star. He was awarded as model of the year men in 2018 by reader's choice and model of the year 2023 by Industry's vote.

Early life[edit]

Kit born and raised in Oxford, UK until he was 5, and the he moved to Italy with his family and attended an elite private school in Verona. There, he learned Italian and became a skilled skier, competing in the Italian national youth finals. His family then moved back to England when he was 11. He had plans to major in sports science at university to become a physiotherapist before he was scouted as a teen while helping to build an aerodrome with his uncle.[4]

He was first scouted by Next London[5] and debuted runaway on Coach F/W 16 Men's Presentation Coach[6] Other agencies are Soul Artists Management, Bananas Models[7], Fashion Model Management, Brooks Modeling Agency[8], Sight Management Studio[9], Boss Models Cape Town[10], Le Management, Kult Australia[11] and MIKAs[12]

Since then, Butler has been featured in numerous advertisement campaigns and editorials for many brands like Louis Vuitton, Dior Marc Brick, Emporio Armani, Vogue hommes, GQ Australia, GQ UK, Hero magazine,Woolmark, Narcisse, Made in Brazil, Vogue Italia,At large magazine, D'scene magazine, Burberry, elle Germany, GQ China, Zara, Manifesto magazine, GQ Korea, L'officel hommes, Loro Piana Les Hommes, Church's, Salvatore and many other brands.

His runaway creditentials include opening Dolce & Gabanna S/S 24, Coach F/W 15, Dolce & Gabanna ‘ALTA SARTORIA’ 2024 and walking for Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Thom Browne, Calvin Klein, Moschino, Michael Kors, DSquared2, Zegna, Versace, Tom Ford, Balmain, Emporio Armani, Hugo Boss, Etro, Massimo Dutti, Burberry, Balenciaga , and many other high fashion brands.

Achievements[edit]

In 2018, Butler was the model of the year by reader's choice and also model of the year in 2023 by industry's choice.[13] Models.com added Butler To Supers, Top 50, Hot List 100 and Icons.

He was nominated for Breakout star in 2016 and nominated for the model of the year in 2017, 2021, 2022.
