Laura Cazzaniga (Cantù, 1981), also know as Laura Pinta Cazzaniga, is an italian visual artist. She is the daughter of the italian designer Piergiorgio Cazzaniga.

Cazzaniga graduated in Painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, she attended advanced courses in Art and Architecture at Roma Tre University. She studied with Luciano Fabro and attended the studio of Vito Acconci. Also, during her studies, she worked in the archive of the Italian sculptor Nanni Valentini.

Her research is developed in the field of Site-specific art. She has carried out installations, ephemeral interventions, and actions in contexts of sociopolitical conflict,[1] also in collaboration with local collectives. She has developed projects related to historical memory,[2][3] monument,[4][5] female condition,[6][7] social struggles, from an anarchist perspective.

Cazzaniga has exhibited her work in national and international exhibitions, Biennials, and non-institutional and underground culture spaces.


At the beginning of her career, she has collaborated with gruppo Arte Architettura Territorio,[8] S.O.S. Workshop[9][10] and gruppo Koinè.[11][12] She has also collaborated on selected projects with Escuela Moderna.[13][14][15][16]
