Li (Cynthia) Zhang is a distinguished figure known for her roles as a host, investor, ambassador of Saudi-Chinese culture, and international economist. Recognized as one of the "Top 10 Outstanding Young Chinese in America" in 2023.[1] Zhang has made significant contributions to fostering cultural exchanges and economic dialogue between China and Saudi Arabia.[2] She is an alumna of Peking University and Harvard University and currently serves as the leader of the World Youth Development Forum - specifically the Sino-Arab Youth Development Forum.[3] Zhang is also the founder and host of the "Sino-Saudi 2030" program.[2]

Cynthia Zhang pursued her bachelor's degree at Peking University. She furthered her education by obtaining a dual degree in Communication Studies from the Communication University of China. Zhang is currently advancing her academic journey at Harvard Business School.[3]

In 2023, Zhang embarked on a mission to enhance the dialogue between Chinese and Arabian cultures through various cultural exchange initiatives. Her project, "Chinese Culture Visiting Saudi," aimed at documenting her travels across Saudi Arabia, achieved significant popularity, amassing over a billion views on domestic platforms within a month. This success led to her being celebrated as "The most beautiful culture ambassador of China-Saudi Arabia."[4]
