Liat Yossifor was born in 1974 and is an American abstract painter who was born and raised in Israel and moved to the United States as a teenager in 1989[1]. Yossifor lives and works in Los Angeles, California[2].
Education
[edit]Liat Yossifor received her BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1996, and her MFA from the University of California, Irvine, in 2002[3].
Work
[edit]Liat Yossifor creates abstract paintings that are tactile and pictorial[4]. Yossifor explores the possibilities of grayscale abstraction while eschewing narrative or figurative elements[5].
