Like Comment Subscribe is a Canadian screenlife web series created and written by Marley Kajan and Connor Ferris.
The series is a satirical comedy told exclusively via the screens and devices that consume two self-obsessed social media influencers struggling to overcome backlash after causing an internet scandal.
The cast stars Kajan and Ferris as protagonists Meaghan Mercier and Avery Carlton respectively, and also features Deborah Tennant, Paloma Nuñez, Yusuf Zine, Taylor Love, Matthew Thomas Rogers, Aaron Schwartz, Rami Khan, Blair MacMillan and Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll.[1]
All eight episodes were directed by Sabina Olivia Lambert, who also produced with Kajan and Ferris. She also served as showrunner.
Development on the series started in 2020 inspired by Kajan and Ferris' experiences on screens in their own lives during quarantine. Principal photography took place in 2022 between Etobicoke, Mississauga and Downtown Toronto.
