Notes
[edit]- ^ a b c Shepherd finished the 1977 season with a 9–1 record on the field, but due to the use of an ineligible player, they forfeited their wins against Frostburg State, Randolph–Macon, and WV Wesleyan. Their 3–1 conference record would tie WV Wesleyan and Salem for first in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Northern Divison but due to their violation, Shepherd was ineligible to play in the Coal Bowl (WVIAC Championship Game).
- ^ In 1982, Shepherd was awarded a win against California (PA) due to their use of an ineligible player.
- ^ In 1992, Shepherd was awarded a win against Shippensburg due to their use of an ineligible player.
- ^ During the 2020–21 season, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) suspended the fall season and opted out of the spring season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
