This is a tricky one. I really appreciate your idea and first steps in setting this article up and hopefully it can develop into the mainspace. Compared to List of games notable for negative reception or List of controversial video games, this list contains three items, which suggests it's not quite a concept that merits notability for an article. The sourcing is also dubious: there are some reliable sources in The Guardian and Dot Esports, but also plenty of situational or unreliable sources such as Dexerto and Game Rant and unknown sources as Best Life and Yardbarker. Notably, all the sources are listicles. This is okay, as it's a good first step for research, but it means no item really has significant coverage justifying why it is considered to be the hardest game. Furthermore, without explanatory text as in the above articles, a casual reader would have no way of understanding why these sources have assessed the game is the hardest, which undermines its point a little. There's also a more nebulous philosophical issue; whereas 'the worst' or 'controversial' are equally subjective concepts, they tend to have rules or thresholds for inclusion - check out the talk pages on both to see there is a definite criteria. You may want to think about one for this article to prevent people from adding in random entries just because a source said it was hard or the hardest. Another idea to stimulate discussion is considering getting views on this on the talk page of WP:VG as they may be able to provide second opinions and ideas.
