Kim Ji-won (Korean: 김지원; born November 21, 2004), known mononymously as Liz, is a South Korean singer. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Ive, under Starship Entertainment.

Early life[edit]

Liz was born on November 21, 2004, in South Korea.^[1]^[2]^[3] Liz got cast from the 2019 Starship Open Audition and became a trainee under Starship Entertainment.^[4]

Career[edit]

2021–present: Debut with Ive and solo activities[edit]

On November 6, 2021, Starship Entertainment revealed Liz as one of the six members of their new girl group, Ive. Liz was the fourth member to be introduced and as one of the group's vocalist.^[2] On December 1, 2021, Liz officially debuted as a member of Ive with the release of their single album, Eleven, led by the single of the same name,^[5]^[6] which topped all South Korean charts upon debut.^[7]^[8]^[9]
