MEAN WELL (明緯, also known as MEAN WELL Power Supply) is a Taiwanese power supply manufacturing company. Its headquarter is in Wugu, New Taipei City. It is known for its standard switching power supplies. It is ranked the 4th in global power supply (DC output) makers according to a report by Micro Technology released in March, 2024[1].

History

MEAN WELL Enterprises Co., Ltd. was established in 1982 and began by manufacturing switching power supplies for Apple II and IBM PCs. Over the years, the company expanded its product line and established several international offices and factories, including locations in the USA, Europe, China, and other regions. Notable milestones include implementing green manufacturing practices in 2004, surpassing $1 billion in revenue in 2018, and going public in 2023. MEAN WELL focuses on standard power supply manufacturing and has received numerous certifications for quality and environmental management.[2]
