Introduction[edit]

The Malorussian liberation army is a militant group that is supposedly fighting for Pro-Russian/Russian forces in Ukraine, while the group's origins remain unclear, it has been active since late 2023 as a military unit. Though originally being a online activist rather then a actual military unit.[1]

Size[edit]

The size of the group is highly disputed, while the groups website claims to have over 5100 men, other sources claim they have at most 120-150 men.[2]

Motives[edit]

The Groups motives which where started by themselves in several announcements on online forums and there website is to overthrow "the Kiev Regime which occupied there country and killed there brothers". Though Others claim it's pure goal is be a Russian info op and spread propaganda on online forums[2][3]

Disputed Existence[edit]

While Many claim they exist just in smaller numbers then the groups supposedly 5100+ fighters(most of them agree to 150 or less), other sources claim they do not exist at all or are just a Russian info op. While pictures of the group exists many claim the mass media approach of the said pictures is proof that it is a info op by the Russians/Pro-Russians.
