Marcus Neill is an Australian footballer who plays for Sunderland. He is the son of Australian former international Lucas Neill.[1]
Career
[edit]Neill was in the youth academy at Blackburn Rovers as a striker before joining Liverpool in late 2018.[2] He stayed on Merseyside until February 2024, when he signed for Sunderland.[3] He signed a two-year scholarship contract with Sunderland in July 2024.[4]
Style of play
[edit]A forward player, he has been described as a good finisher with both feet.[5]
Personal life
