Drummer for the French rock band Noctambule from 1999 to 2004. After retiring from music in 2017 he made a comeback, recording with Noctambule a second album that shall be released in summer 2024. Sadly Mark passed away on the 21st of march 2024 after a short battle with cancer. Long live the shuffle king!

Mark grew up in Brossard, Quebec, Canada. Mark's father a famous musician, Guy Lemaire who was a major influence on him ,musically. Mark took up the drums at the age of 12. After saving money earned from a paper route he purchased his first drum set. Mark listened to and was influenced by rock & rock bands such as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Rush & Yes.

He attended St Francois Xavier junior high school in Laprairie Quebec in the years 1980-1982. Then he attended MacDonald Cartier High School in Saint Hubert Quebec for secondary 4 & 5. During his high school days Mark played with various musicians and bands including Cirkus Mind a 3 piece group featuring an older guitar player and excellent bassist.

Mark played in the Steve Rowe Band from 1992-1999. During this time he also did a lot of gigs at La Pointe in St Jean sur Richelieu with Michael Wattie on bass. Vaughn Grouse joined for a few years around 92 or 93. Singer / guitar player. He eventually quit the band. Mark toured in the Dominican Republic in 1994 during a 2.5 month sta in Sosua. This line up featured Steve Rowe, Richard Blue Steel Chartran a Singer guitar playe & Claude Sauvé on bass.
