Matt Wilson is an American vocalist and songwriter from Buffalo, New York. Wilson competed on the 21st season of the television series American Idol[1][2][3] where he placed top 20 and was mentored by fellow singer Allen Stone.[4][5] During his time at Idol, Wilson received a standing ovation from judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan later released several singles and collaborated with other recording artists.

[edit]After Idol in 2023 Matt sung the national anthem for the Buffalo Bills.[6]
Personal life
[edit]Matt is a preschool teacher and is married.[7][8]
