Matthew Ho (/máθjʉw/ MATH-yoo; Born August 29, 2007) also known by his street name "Gyatthew", is a contemporary musician from O'Block, who has recently seen a significant rise in popularity following the release of his single, Disaster (2024). He is known for his academic music qualifications, including ABRSM Grade 11 music theory, International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme Music Overall Grade 4, and is the only known musician capable of identifying the quantity of instrumentation for any given musical excerpt with full accuracy.

Musical career

Prior to Gyatthew's musical production career in 2024, his studies in music began in the International Baccalaureate curriculum. During his final year in the Middle Years Programme, Gyatthew's musical talent became apparent to his peers and teachers, Gyatthew released his first single during this time, good song (2024), a remix of Happy Birthday to You and The Star-Sprangled Banner.

Criminal Record

On the 6th of March, 2017, Ho was arrested by the San Francisco Police Department for the alleged; trespass into a jewelry store on 800th Grant Street, coercion of store staff, assault of an employee, and attempted robbery a month prior.[1] According to police, Ho smashed display cases containing diamond and gold jewelry with a hammer, though left the store without taking any store assets. Following the police's identification of Ho, he was arrested in his home. Ho was officially booked into prison that Sunday on suspicion of burglary, aggravated assault and attempted robbery.[1]
