Matthew Keenan grew up in Great Bend, Kansas, and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He attended the University of Kansas.
Career[edit]
Keenan's legal career includes a partnership at Shook, Hardy & Bacon, specializing in product liability litigation. He transitioned to public service as the Executive Director of Kansas Legal Services.[1]. In 2022, he was honored with the Kansas Bar Association's Pro Bono Award for his significant contributions to providing legal services to the poor[2]. He was also appointed to the board of the Legal Services Corporation, sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts[3]
