Matthew M. Neil (1849–June 23, 1925) was a justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court from 1902 to 1918.

elected 1902, 1910; elected chief justice February 17, 1913; served until 1918; born in Fayetteville, Tennessee; judge of Court of Chancery Appeals, 1895 to 1902.[1]

Neil was one of two candidate expected to win the Democratic nomination for seats on the state supreme court.[2]
